A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes

God has placed a crazy compassion in my heart for African children.  Not necessarily African orphans – just African children.  Ever since I can remember clips from missions trips, pictures from service projects, or images of orphans has ripped my heart out of my chest and caused me to feel such deep emotions.  My two trips to Ethiopia confirmed this love like nothing else could.
Now I don’t know where this love will take me.  Will Nate and I someday be led to pack up our bags and head to Africa?  Maybe.  Will we be called to adopt African children?  Possibly.  Will I work with an organization here in the states lending aid to little ones in Africa?  Could very well be.
All I know is what is in my heart.  Africa has gotten into my blood and won’t ever depart!
