Palm Breeze with My Master
What a crazy last two weeks! Both Nate and his sister graduated from two separate Seminaries here in Portland so we’ve had guests at our little two bedroom apartment so long I can hardly remember what it’s like having our house to ourselves. (But I LOVE it! Hospitality is one of my favorites) Even though he technically graduated in December, Nate walked and officially received his diploma on Saturday, April 25th. It was wonderful to see the completion of years of hard work and to celebrate with him as he was recognized for all his dedication with his Masters of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies. No celebration in the summer is complete without a BBQ and no BBQ is complete without yummy beverages. Most of the guys (and my sister-in-law) are beer drinkers but I had to get something for those of us who don’t enjoy beer to enjoy. Palm Breeze fit the bill perfectly! Palm Breeze comes currently comes in two flavors – Pineapple Mandarin Orange and Ruby Red Citrus – and, when I was purchasing it, I spent far too long standing in the store aisle deciding which one I wanted to try. I totally would have tried both but, since I can only drink after the baby goes to bed (#nursingproblems) I decided to try the Pineapple Mandarin Orange now and go back and get the Ruby Red Citrus later. It’s always so much fun BBQing with family and enjoying the rare sunshine-y day here in Portland. (although, this year sunshine-y days haven’t been quite so rare) I almost felt as though we were having a mini tropical vacation. 😉 Palm Breeze was SUCH a good addition to the BBQ and I love how yummy it was! It only has a light alcohol tingle (which I love) and had such a yummy pineapple-y juice taste. (which I also love) This will definitely become one of my go-to summer drinks! I’m so proud of both Nate and Caitlin for all their hard work and dedication to their studies and am excited for both of them that they’re DONE!!! Seminary degrees are no joke and it’s awesome to hear about everything they’ve learned the past few years. Now they just need to find jobs that use their degrees…. 😉 PS. Palm Breeze and the Blo Dry Bar are having some awesome events in San Diego, D.C., Austin, and Dallas. I wish there was one in Portland for me to attend! PPS. Go get Palm Breeze for yourself!!!!
