He's My Precious Little
Teething is absolutely no joke! Seriously, you guys, whoever says that teething doesn’t actually bother babies is plumb crazy. Don’t worry, I’m not the mama that goes around blaming everything on teething (at least I try not to be) but when it’s happening Caleb is a wreck!
This kid doesn’t ever do anything halfheartedly. He got two teeth between five and six months, and then six teeth between the end of month seven and the beginning of month eight. Getting six teeth at a time was ca-razy!
Caleb now is cutting four more teeth. My kid doesn’t know what to do with himself! He’s drooling all over the place, chewing on EVERYTHING, and a Mr. Fussypants.

Thankfully Nate and I have figured out some things that help our little man. We know to give him ice rings, we massage his gums, we give him infant ibuprofen, and we try to always have things on hand for Caleb to gnaw on.
This Mama and Little silicone necklace that I’m wearing in these pictures is our newest teething accessory and it is awesome! It’s great to have a chew toy conveniently around my neck at all times that I know is safe for my little man to chew on! I love that it’s 100% food-grade silicone, non-toxic, and free of BPC, PVC, latex, lead, and so many more gross chemicals. It helps that it’s adorable and doesn’t look too much like a chew toy.
To be honest, Caleb doesn’t know what to do with it when it’s around my neck. I don’t typically let him chew on my necklaces so I think he was concerned that I was tricking him when I let him chew on it. 😉 When I take it off my neck, though, that’s a different story. Caleb’s totally a fan of it then and chews on it like there’s no tomorrow!
I guess you can say that the Mama and Little necklace is kid tested and mama approved. 😉
