Welcome to Simple Moments Stick

Welcome to Simple Moments Stick, my little corner of the internet!  I’m so glad you stopped by and want to get to know me a little better!  I’m Susannah – wife to the hottest associate pastor around, mama to a precocious little man, and owner and product creator of Simply You and Baby Too.

Simple Moments Stick is my place to encourage the simple life.  Whether it’s faith, marriage, parenting, travel, food, or anything else these are ways to incorporate simplicity in your every day life.

Here at Simple Moments Stick you’ll find:

  • A respectful discussion about my Christian faith.  I know that not all my followers agree with my religious beliefs and I strive to honor that but my faith is at the core of who I am and I can’t shy away from that.  I desire to share my Christian faith and keep it simple and focused on the most important thing – the Grace of Jesus.
  • A look into my marriage and parenting style.  I definitely don’t have it all together but I strive to be the best wife and mother I possibly can be!  You’ll read all about the things I get right and the things I get wrong as my family grows and changes together.
  • A little of everything else.  Simplicity can be found in travel, blogging, fashion, and so much more and I bring all sorts of fun topics to the table!  You’ll never be bored when you stop by Simple Moments Stick!

Grab a cup of coffee, snuggle up in a cozy blanket, and join me as we journey toward simplicity together!

My husband and I will be moving to Portland next year and I had no idea there was a community of Christian bloggers already established there. Won't be able to join in your meet up this summer but I am so so so thrilled (can you tell by the amount of "so"s I'm adding?) to have learned this!! I'd love it if we could keep in touch so I can come right alongside y'all whenever we arrive. Have a great week!

  • Hi Susannah! I found your blog on Peony Project! I'm also 20 something mama and like blogging about parenting and kids. I'm excited to read your blog. Wow, you came from a big family! I wish I had siblings, but I'm the only child in a family. That's why I want to give my daughter many brothers and sisters. I hope God will bless us with more kids.
I also traveled a bit before moving to the US, mostly in Europe. I've never been to Africa though. That's an exotic place for me. How did you like living in Ethiopia? I feel like their lifestyle is so much different from the way we all live.
I definitely need to update my "About" page. I've just started blogging couple of months ago and didn't have much time for writing my personal story. I also have some stories to tell:)

    Have a great day!
