Fall is beautiful! Want to know the perfect fall date? Well, you should go to an amazing coffee shop (preferably the coffee shop where you now husband originally told you of his interest in you). Spend some time there, sipping coffee and having wonderful conversations. Once one of you (read: not me) is pretty much finished with his coffee and one of you (read: me because I talk a lot) has 3/4 of her coffee left, decide to go for a walk in a gorgeous neighborhood you’ll never in your wildest dreams be able to afford – especially on a pastor’s salary. (Million+ dollar houses, anyone?) Enjoy the crisp breeze, the gorgeous fall colors, and the feeling of your love’s hand in yours. Sometimes the simplest dates are the best!
definitely the best date – how gorgeous are the leaves? jon and i love sunday morning walks above all else – we usually try to walk someone that has a patio for dogs so we can bring our puppy kinzie. do you live in the midwest?
Hooray for simple coffee dates! So glad you had fun (and I absolutely love daydreaming about big ol' mansions that we could never ever afford or keep clean!).
so cute! Love impromptu dates and especially ones that are simple! No expectations or getting all dressed up…these always tend to be the best of times!
What a great idea to walk through a beautiful neighborhood! I may have to steal this idea this weekend. There is a neighborhood not far from us on a golf course with HUGE houses.
I love spying on gorgeous houses!! I would never want one myself–too much work and upkeep, but I wouldn't mind making friends with a millionaire so that I could get a look inside…
I talk a lot so I run into the exact same problem! My husband is always done with his food or drink before I am and then he sits there for a while and listens to me talk while I slowly finish what I'm eating.
Ooh, that does sound like a fun date! I'm all for enjoying the fall colors and for just enjoying the simple things–but that's coming from a no frills kind of girl! 🙂
