Honey Rosemary Simple Syrup Recipe
I love coffee!

I probably love coffee a little too much – as I found out when I detoxed off it a few months ago.  😉

Although black coffee (with cream) is typically my go-to coffee drink, I also LOVE lattes, mochas, americanos…  Pretty much anything made with espresso makes my heart happy.

Since I always am working on ways to eat cleaner/healthier while keeping my grocery bills down, I’ve been making my own chocolate and caramel for my yummy coffee drinks for a while now.  My homemade syrups may not be the most healthy, but at least they’re not full of high fructose corn syrup, food dyes, and other chemicals.

I thought it would be tons of fun to try to make other types of syrups too.

I couldn’t believe how simple making simple syrup was!!!

Honey Rosemary Simple Syrup
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup water
1 sprig of rosemary, chopped
1.  Combine honey and water in a saucepan.  Bring to a boil.  Add the chopped up sprig of rosemary.  Cook until all the honey is dissolved.
2.  Strain out the rosemary pieces and bottle the syrup.
3.  Drink lots of yummy coffee!
