10 Places to Find Great Photos for Your Blog Post
I’ve been working at being more intentional about my blog recently (I hope you’ve noticed!) and am discovering a new love for blogging! One of the things that used to get me discouraged about blogging was photography. I’m not the greatest photographer – although I’m learning (did you see that picture I took of the hummus????) – and I would get too discouraged to write some posts because I knew they wouldn’t have great pictures going along with them if I took the pictures. I recently found out that there’s something called Creative Commons Zero that is a copywrite law that basically means a picture has no copywrite so individuals can do whatever they want with them – including using them for blogging purposes!!!

This is a great, fun site that’s easy to use to search for the perfect picture to highlight you blog post. The pictures are easy to download and are quite unique. I love that these pictures tend to be more simple so they’re easier to add words to if you’re trying to make a pin-able image.Free Nature Stock
This site is perfect for anytime you’re looking for any nature photography. It’s a mother load of gorgeous landscapes, night skies, water features, and fields. Yo’re able to search through to find exactly the type of picture you need.

Although this site is one you just have to shift through in order to find the picture you want since there’s no search bar, it’s a great site for bloggers. It’s filled with all sorts of tech photos including laptops, business spaces, and phones – a paradise for us!

This site includes mostly nature and architecture pictures with a few pictures of people thrown in. Most of the pictures are edited to be low contrast if that’s the vibe you’re going for. They upload 10 photos every 10 days and you can even opt to have those photos emailed to you. Unfortunately there is no search bar on this site so you just have to hope you can find the picture(s) you’re looking for without searching.
