A Trendy Time at Riverfront Park
Spending my teenage years in Spokane leads to many, many memories but my favorite ones didn’t happen while I lived there, they happened years later when Nate took me to Riverfront Park and asked me to be his girlfriend and then, eight months later, asked me to be his wife in the very same location. Every time we head to Spokane we like to try to go downtown and spend some time at that special park. This time was fun because I may or may not have recently bought a DSLR (spoiler alert: I did) and so I wanted to start trying it out!
This was the first time Caleb was actually interested in hanging out at the park. It was fun to show him around, let him walk, and keep him away from the duck poop. 😉 He LOVED going down the giant Radio Flyer slide and got so mad at us when we had to take him away! If we had more time we had wanted to take him on the carousel and show him the garbage eating goat but, alas, one of my sisters had to be picked up so we headed back north. You better believe that next time we’re there
Since Caleb is mister active pants these days we need shoes that can keep up with him. KEENS Seacamp shoes are the perfect outdoor shoes for our new little walker! We want Caleb to follow our love of being outdoors (which he’s starting to… on HIS terms) and it helps to have shoes that are both flexible enough for him to feel comfortable in and sturdy enough to protect his ankles. Plus they’re really stinking cute too! 😉
Someday it will be fun to bring Caleb to this park and share with him his parent’s love story!
