How to Save Money on Clothes
Thank you Groupon for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
I really enjoy clothes. Anyone with me? If you’re reading this post I’m sure you are! 😉 The problem with that is that I’m also super cheap and hate spending money on clothes. It’s partly because we’re on a single income ministry family budget but it’s also partly just because I’m just cheap. Like every good blogger I signed up for Stitch Fix but I have yet to actually order a box because I can’t find it in me to pay the type of prices they ask for the clothes. What’s a girl to do?
There are tons of places to get clothes in my price range. I LOVE thrift stores, I’m in love with Thred Up, and places like Walmart or Target make my heart happy. I rarely have a piece of clothing fall apart before I want to get rid of it so it’s all good. I look cute, my wallet doesn’t suffer, and Nate is thrilled.
Now, I’m sure we’ve all heard of Groupon. It’s the best way to cheap activities, getaways, and all sorts of other things. Now Groupon has a whole new section to their site that focuses solely on COUPONS! I LOVE COUPONS! Of course I’m all over that! There are coupons for all sorts of great clothing stores – Aerie, Macy’s, and even Tea Collection for the little one!
As soon as I found out about these coupons I knew I needed to use one to get a new pair of shoes. I headed to Payless (already a cheap store) and found these adorable pink sneakers on clearance. I used a Groupon coupon on top of the sale price so they pretty much paid me to take these shoes home!
Since Groupon is available as an app, you better believe I’m not going to buy anything before checking to see if there’s a coupon available! Check it out and see how much money you can save!
