Splash Pad Fun Time
If you haven’t noticed, my goal for the summer has been to get out and about as much as possible. There are only a certain number of days in the year where the weather here in the Pacific Northwest is warm and sunny enough for outside play.
Our little man has ups and downs in what he likes and doesn’t like so Nate and I weren’t sure what he’d do if we took him to the splash pad. Thankfully we pulled up and there weren’t a million kids enjoying the water to overwhelm Caleb. There were just enough kids to put Caleb at ease and for him to see that the splash pad is a blast.
At the start Caleb wasn’t sure what to do. He watched the kids running in and out of the water but didn’t know if he wanted to do the same. Once he warmed up he started running in between the different water gushes, keeping himself from getting too wet. Gradually he realized how much he loved the water and he was all about running in and out of the wonderful splashes!
The giggling and happy screams that exuded from our little boy’s mouth brought huge smiles to Nate’s and my faces. We absolutely love and delight in our little man!
You better believe we’ll be coming back time and time again to enjoy the joy the water brings to our precious little guy.
