The Transition to Fall

I’ve made it very clear that I’m not ready for summertime to end.  I’ve loved the relaxation and freedom that we’ve experienced this summer and don’t want that, or the heat, to go away!

Now I’m eating my words.

This past weekend the weather changed overnight.  All of a sudden the rain has returned, the weather has started getting a little crisper, and the leaves are changing.  And I’m loving it!

I know this sounds weird but my all time favorite season is in between seasons.  I love when fall fades to winter, when winter fades to spring, when spring fades to summer, and, of course, when summer fades to fall.  I’m not someone who usually enjoys change so I don’t know why my heart goes pitter patter when seasons begin changing but I totally love it!

I think part of the love I feel when the weather changes is the fact that I get to change out my closet!  When I can introduce some new clothes to my wardrobe (even clothes that I already owned but haven’t worn in about six months) I get a new pep in my step and a new joy in what I’m wearing.

When Dressfo contacted me about trying out some of their clothes I knew I needed to get some new transitional outfits!  This shirt was probably the favorite of the ones I received and I love the lightness but fall feeling that goes along with it!

I’m starting to get excited for fall but I’m still going to love the last summer days as they present themselves!
