Welcome to Simple Moments Stick, my little corner of the internet!  I’m so glad you stopped by and want to get to know me a little better!  I’m Susannah – wife to the hottest associate pastor around and mama to three precocious little boys!

Simple Moments Stick is my place to encourage the simple life – especially when it comes to motherhood.  I am passionate about families slowing down and truly enjoying one another.  If you’re here then you are probably tired of the mom overwhelm too and want to do things differently.

Here at Simple Moments Stick you’ll find:

  • A look into my marriage and parenting style.  I definitely don’t have it all together but I strive to be the best wife and mother I possibly can be!  You’ll read all about the things I get right and the things I get wrong as my family grows and changes together.
  • A respectful discussion about my Christian faith.  I know that not all my followers agree with my religious beliefs and I strive to honor that but my faith is at the core of who I am and I can’t shy away from that.  I desire to share my Christian faith and keep it simple and focused on the most important thing – the Grace of Jesus.
  • A little of everything else.  Simplicity can be found in travel, blogging, fashion, and so much more and I bring all sorts of fun topics to the table!  You’ll never be bored when you stop by Simple Moments Stick!

Grab a cup of coffee, snuggle up in a cozy blanket, and join me as we journey toward simplicity together!

you and your husband remind me so much of my little sister and her husband — she's a kindergarten teacher in phoenix, and he studying to get his master's in theological studies (he writes the blog http://asimplemanofgod.wordpress.com/) they are the sweetest, and your writing reminds me so much of them 🙂

Hello, I'm not sure how I stumbled upon your blog. I am so happy though to have found a fellow Oregon blogger. I'm in Oregon City and it isn't often that I find local bloggers. I have read a little this morning and love your blog!

Swing on over and say hello.

Hi Susannah! I found your blog on Peony Project! I'm also 20 something mama and like blogging about parenting and kids. I'm excited to read your blog. Wow, you came from a big family! I wish I had siblings, but I'm the only child in a family. That's why I want to give my daughter many brothers and sisters. I hope God will bless us with more kids.
I also traveled a bit before moving to the US, mostly in Europe. I've never been to Africa though. That's an exotic place for me. How did you like living in Ethiopia? I feel like their lifestyle is so much different from the way we all live.
I definitely need to update my "About" page. I've just started blogging couple of months ago and didn't have much time for writing my personal story. I also have some stories to tell:)

    Have a great day!
